Last Saturday was my mother’s birthday ✨
So I went to her town to visit her, and with her and my family we went to Center Parcs ! ?
It’s a place near the forest in France where you can do much activities (walks, bicycle, pony, tennis…), with a main building shaped as a sphere. Inside the sphere, the temperature is quite hot to make a lot of nature grow, like exotic plants (banana trees, these kind of plants), and there’s also an inside swimming pool ! It’s not exactly as a SPA, but you can relax a lot there as much as play in the water, there is a main pool and big water slides, but also some jacuzzis, a solarium… everyone can find what they like there.

Even some bananas actually started to grow. It was that hot ! ?
I’m sorry I couldn’t manage to take a full picture of my outfit, but here is my pineapple dress ?
(and my sweaty hair, it was so humid)
And of course : the foods ! Everything was sooo good.
Inside the sphere there were also lots of small ponds with fishes in it, it was beautiful.

These are the paths you can follow, they lead to restaurants, shops, the pool… you can find all of that in the sphere.
It feels like it’s a small city inside of a jungle !

We went outside for a walk by the lake, unfortunately it was quite cold that day, and not sunny at all. But we still enjoyed our walk !
We found this peculiar thing outside : it’s not a phone box, it’s a book box !
You can take any book and read it for free (but you have to return it when you’re done of course) :
I couldn’t take my camera with me to the swimming pool zone, it was a shame because it was very pretty inside too !
And of course when we went back : the presents ! ?
My mother was very happy, she enjoys being near nature a lot (and receiving presents).

hesitate to go there ! (you can stay and sleep here too)

Lovely pictures. Which parc did you visit? We’ve been to Longleat in the U.K. Several times as we live close but this year we travelled over to Belgium to visit Erperheide and De Vossemeren. Both lovely and significantly cheaper than the British and French parcs
I didn’t know that it was cheaper in Belgium ! We visited a Parc near the city of Orleans, in France
