Today I’m going to show you some hair related ideas ?
As you might have seen in my ootds, I have long hair.
And even if it seems weird because of all the possibilities you have to style it, I never know how to do my hair !
So I decided to go and search around the internet for hairstyles (Pinterest is my friend), and here are the ideas that I found ✨
To explain better how to make these hairstyles, I’ll upload a video later
(I’m editing it right now, but it takes more time than making a post !)
✘ USE AN ORIGINAL HAIR PIN
I really love this one, because it only takes a second and voilà ! You just choose a place to pin it and it’s done.
I found this hair pin on ASOS : Here’s a similar one.
✘ HALF PONYTAIL
I think this one looks particularly good with long hair, because the half ponytail looks really long and follows the rest of the hair.
All you have to do is basically make a ponytail out of the top part of your hair.
(sorry about the split and damaged ends : it’s a work in progress)
✘ HALF BUN
For this one, you have to do the exact same thing as the half ponytail, and then do a bun with the ponytail.
Fix it and shape it with bobby pins so it stays in place.
I love how this one looks a bit Japanese inspired, it makes me think of a samurai haircut !
✘ SIDE PONYTAIL (TWO WAYS)
Here is a side ponytail !
Pretty simple to do, just make a ponytail on the side of your head.
Don’t forget to take some hair out from the sides to add some volume, and twist the tail around your fingers to give it some movement !
Another version of this is the twisted side ponytail, it’s a bit difficult to explain.
What you want to do is to make a hole in the hair with your fingers, by separating your hair in two parts right above the elastic band (the top part of your hair, not the tail).
Then, you take the tail and make it go right through the hole, by the front side. Finish by hiding your elastic band with a bit of hair and it’s done !
It’ll be clearer in the video, I promise.

✘ BRAIDED PONYTAIL
For this one you need to make a simple braid with a strand of hair, starting from the side of your head. Be sure to make it pulling it up, towards the place where your elastic band will be, and secure it with a really small elastic band (the plastic ones).
Prepare your hair for a ponytail and add your mini braid on the side, then put the regular elastic band on. It’s one of the easiest hairstyles !

Super cute hairstyles! I love the one with the bun I really want to give it a try But my hair falls out of buns so easily! Any tips on how you get it to stick for long periods?
Thank you ! ? I make sure the elastic band is tight, and then I just drown my bun with bobby pins ? You can also use some dry shampoo, it makes the hair gain in texture, and that makes it stay better in place ! ?
=) Very cool, good tips I will for sure try out the dry shampoo because I think my issue is that when my hair is straight it is way too silky and needs some texture to stay in place!
Then I think the dry shampoo might be the solution ! See how it turns out ?

I love the half bun style. I can’t wait for my hair to be longer again!!
Not all are suitable for my hair length but I think my 6 year old will love these styles. I like that they’re simple as I’m not very creative when it comes to hairstyles!
