Today is the 28th, it’s time for my 5 monthly favorites !
And in this case, my March favorites. I feel like this month just ran out so fast, I can barely remember doing much really. But I always enjoy March, for me it’s synonym of “end of winter”, even if it’s only the beginning of spring so it’s still kind of cold.
I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve enjoyed myself ! ?
1. This hair repair
This is awesome, it’s an organic hair repair and shine fluid, it looks and has the texture of hand cream, but for hair. It’s hair cream. It also smells very nice, like almonds, and always moisturises my dry tips very well ! I usually put it at night, right before putting my hair in a bun. That way, they are really soft and shiny on the morning ✨
2. My new overalls !
I am in love with those, I always wanted to buy a pair but I was afraid they wouldn’t fit me since I am very short. But one day I decided to not care and I bought them ! I’m going to make an outfit out of this for the blog, i’ll post it later. For now, here is the picture of them I posted on Instagram some days ago :

3. Iron Fist
So this is not an item, but this month I started to watch Iron Fist with my boyfriend. It’s a bit cliche and the relationship between the characters are not really realistic sometimes, but I still like it a lot ! The plot is nice, it’s not a complex series but It’s an easy to get along with type of show. But if your thing is reeeally well produced and deep series, this is not for you. If you want to give it a try, it’s available on Netflix, but i’m sure you can find it on the internet, totally “legally” of course.
4. Avène Couvrance Powder
This powder is the best powder you can find, in my opinion. Most powders I’ve tried were too dark/bright, and left my face looking like cardboard. Since I have oily skin, I need to apply some powder during the day, because if I don’t at some point my face will look like a disco ball. But that also means I need something natural, that won’t obstruct my pores and provoque a pimple invasion. This powder is made for sensitive skin, and it’s non-comedogenic ! The main ingredient is rice powder, and it’s translucent, so no cardboard. And as you can see this one is new, I loved it so much I bought another one ?
5. Fake Flowers
I can hear you ask : why not regular flowers ? They look better plus they smell nice ! And I agree, I prefer real flowers. I actually love real flowers. BUT, I live with my boyfriend, who is allergic to pollen. For him, spring is like a colourful deadly trap. So, no flowers. Because of this I had to find some way to still be able to have flowers at home, and this is the solution I came up with. Honestly they might not be as beautiful as real ones, but at least these do last forever !

My boyfriend and are are going to start watching Iron Fist soon…we love anything Marvel and DC! That powder looks really good!

I love your overall! It looks awesome! I am also watching Iron Fists and I quite like it, although I preferred Luke Cage and Daredavil, as the story was a bit more complex. Still, like you said, it’s a good show to chill with 🙂 Monica x

I have always wanted a pair of overalls! But i am also very short and everything is just way too long or big on me. I have the same problem with maxi dresses. Maybe I should just buy one like you did and hem it or something ?
Yeah it can be really hard for us haha, I don’t know which size you wear but those H&M overalls in EU size 36 didn’t require any hemming for me ! ?

My boyfriend has been loving iron fist too; however, he’s not watching it with me -shrugs- ALSO! where’s the brand of the powder from? I’ve never heard of it before!
Then watch it yourself ! ? The brand of the powder is Avène ! They have great quality products all make from natural ingredients, that won’t create any pimples ! I recommend it ?

Since it’s Marvel I have to ask, do you think it’s appropriate for an 8 year old and 12 year old? They LOVE Marvel shows and though sometimes I cringe on the content, overall it’s ok. If it’s ok, I’ll suggest they watch it. Thank you for posting!!! -HM
Hm, for the 8 yo I would say no because there is violence, visible blood (you can see heads separated from their bodies), and maybe some sexy content (not that explicit, but maybe you don’t want your kid to see this). For the 12 yo… I think it depends on his sensibility and maturity. But the show is indeed rated TV-MA, as Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Hope I helped ! ?
