Hey !
Maybe you don’t know this, but two weeks ago it was Mother’s Day in France. This year, we decided to celebrate it by spending the day on a boat, sailing on a canal that goes through various villages.
The boat was not that big, but it was well equipped, with a table, chairs, a roof, and even some toilets ! ⛴️
Here you can see it with my mother, in her Floral pink dress for the occasion.
We started from a village named Briare (pronounced Bree-ar, with hard French Rrr).
At the beginning, the canal we were on passed on a bridge, that itself crossed a river. Not sure if that sounds very clear, but here are the pictures :
The surroundings were quite nice too, and full of nature, as it is usual around small villages in France.
Also, we saw llamas. Wtf France :
And since we spent the day on it, we had a semi lunch semi picnic on the boat table ! ???But to do so, we needed to moor the boat on one side of the canal, so everyone could eat properly. I was the one who had to jump out and drag the boat to the quay, I mean look a those (inexistant) muscles !
Maybe you’ll recognize it, I made my Gluten Free Goat Cheese and Zucchini Flatbread again for my mother.
I even got to drive the boat too, since it was a license free boat ! Anyone could drive it (but honestly it’s so much harder than it looks).

And as you might’ve already seen on my Shopping Haul #2 Post, I was wearing this Topshop Floral Jumpsuit ! It was very confortable and light to wear, perfect for the occasion ! I was also wearing those silver ballerinas that I love, but I lost them ! I think I might have forgotten them at the gym one day ?
Anyways this was a perfect day !
When we jumped out of the boat it was soooo hot, we decided to go get some ice cream to cool down a bit .
It was a lemon, orange, and grapefruit mix, delicious and refreshing ! Plus : who could resist this chocolate cup.
It was really an amazing experience, I love sailing ! ⛴️

Been waiting for this since you posted your shopping haul! Such a gorgeous day to be out on the water, glad the weather was good to you (: my grandpa has a sail boat and we used to go out on it a lot, but since he’s older now I think he might sell it or give it to one of his children. My family and I have a lot of great memories from sailing with him though! Fantastic pictures btw xoxo

That ice cream looks amazingly delicious! I’ve never been on a boat before or been able to drive one! I’d be kind of scared lol that’s cool you did though, and even more that you had such an amazing time with you mom?
That’s really nice of you, but it won’t be that hard believe me ? It was actually kind of scary ! But it was adventurous, and I like adventures ?
