By The Lake

 

 

In France it was mother’s day not so long ago, on the 27th of May. For the occasion, I wore this new striped playsuit that I got from Zaful, I love the color and stripes. We were going to picnic and then take a ride in a rowboat so I definitely needed to wear something comfy, a playsuit outfit is the answer for me in this kind of situation !
I paired the rust playsuit with a cream cardigan that I brought from Japan some years ago. I liked the orange/cream combination, it brings the right amount of colorful and the right amount of soft. It also makes me think of pizza … maybe I shouldn’t choose my outfits according to food, but whatever !

 

 

 

It’s also the right moment for me to introduce my new glasses to you !
I chose a round gold pair, very light and discreet. I think it’s amazing how you can see my face better with these kind of glasses. I also love the vintage style, I basically never owned a pair that looked like this so I thought, why not ?

It doesn’t really look like it, but it was 30°C/86°F that day ! Fortunately, and I get that it’s kind of a weird thing to say, it rained a little when we were on the lake. It was really refreshing, and even pleasing with the noise of the drops hitting the water around us.

 

 

 

I also added my old pair of cream converse, I have had them for 9 years now, and they’re still awesome to wear !

To end, here are the beautiful roses that we gave to my mother that day. My sister found those stunning white & red bouquet, it was the first time that I saw such a peculiar pattern on a roses petals !
