Summertime is an awesome season, because it’s holiday time !
So while you’re waiting for my holiday travel posts to come out, here’s a bit of summer beauty.
I wanted to create a glowy summer makeup look, to have a bit of sun on my cheeks.
Since I want this look to have this gorgeous summer glow, I used Benefit’s High Beam, that you might have seen in my Birthday Haul. I loved using it ! it’s easy to apply with the brush, and to spread with your fingers. And of course, it gives an amaaazing glow, even on a (kind of) light skin tone like mine :
✧ How to recreate this look :
- Apply primer, foundation, & powder (if you use some). As primer I used Photo Finish from Smashbox, and as foundation I used Fit Me ! from Maybelline in shade 115, I always use a darker tone for summer since my face is more tanned.
- On the edges of your face, put on a bit of bronzer and form a crease on the cheeks.
- Now, time for some glow ! Add some High Beam highlighter on the top of the cheeks, but also on the eyebrow arch, the tip of your nose, and the tip of your chin. Make it glow anywhere you like ! To spread it well, tap your fingers around, I liked the result that way.
How do you like that summer glow ? 😉
