So, I was given the opportunity by La Redoute to try out a sophisticated sports bra. They contacted me by email to ask if I would receive this sports bra as a gift in exchange of a blog post, and I said yes.
The timing is actually perfect since I decided to start talking about my wanabee fitness lifestyle here ! As you might have seen, I wrote a lot about nutrition in my post about How I lost 10 kg, but being active and working out is also a part of my life. I actually wanted to become more disciplined in my working out routine, especially since I’m on vacation right now so I have plenty of time to go to the gym.
And we can’t talk about working out without mentioning sportswear. I’m actually beginning to start looking into “fashionable” activewear, because if i’m going to be going to the gym often I want to like what I’m wearing !
I chose this bra because my leggings are all black and I often wear a thin black tank top with it, so I thought this all black look needed some strong colored details 🙂
Love the color and the aesthetics, this bra is perfect for my working out OOTD. But the important question is : is it comfortable, and does it maintain your breast ?
The answer is yes !
It does have a nice maintain, I was able to do my weight lifting and cardio without feeling like my breast lacked support, and I even did some dynamic exercices like squat jumps, jumping jacks, fast surrender squats… and my breast didn’t budge at all.
What I also really like about this bra is that even though it’s tight enough it’s still really soft, the cloth used is comfortable to wear. The bra is said to be hydrating as it contains almond oil, and I think you can actually feel that a little, the material feels “fresh” and smooth whenever I put it on if that makes sense. The way the bottom band is sewn is also really pleasant, you can’t feel it !
The bra also has a really cool feature : it has removable padding shells. I’m very grateful for this feature because it’s perfect to hide possible awkward showing nipples (yes I’m a cold sensitive person) if you have this issue too, those shells are life changing ! And if you don’t like the pads, you can also take them out easily. I tried it either way, and removing the pads didn’t change the support or the coziness of the bra at all.
So as a conclusion, I actually recommend this sports bra from Lytess ! It’s comfortable, well made with quality materials, and it has a great support. If you’re interested, here’s the link to get the Lytess Sports Bra on La Redoute’s website 🙂
