Yesterday was the 20th of December !
And I COMPLETELY forgot about the date, I’m literally writing this on the 19th at 23:38 p.m. Well, my blog is turning 2 years old 😀 I’m really happy about it, even though I didn’t have any time to blog lately (so sorry about that by the way).
This year I decided to take things waaay slower than my first year, I think you guys noticed. My blog grew so fast at the beginning, I was really thrilled about that. But I was also always rushing to the next post without many breaks in between, because it was so exciting !
This year I needed more time for myself, and for classes. This year is indeed the year that I can’t screw up, because I’m starting to get pretty tired of repeating years of college. That’s why I decided that even if I end up not blogging at all, or not being able to play video games or read books, or whatever, I’ll prioritize my work at school.
The beginning of the year in France starts in September, and I remember one week before the beginning of classes I just felt like crying whenever I thought of having to go to college again, with the same teachers, in the same classrooms where I failed before. But you know what I literally said to myself : what’s the worst that could happen ? Let’s just jump in with everything I have, and see what happens. And damn, I can’t say that it wasn’t terrifying (and it still is honestly), but for the first time I feel like I’m not that scared of trying for real.
So, fast forward, my last exam was on the 18th of December, and that made me COMPLETELY forget about my blogiversary on the 20th ! I was literally too focused, but that’s a good thing right ? 🙂
I have had so many ideas for my blog these last months, but unfortunately I didn’t have the time to do them. I have also bigger projects for the future of my blog, my dream projects would be : designing a clothing line, growing my graphic design service, and having the courage to do outfit pictures in public weekly.
But of course, I won’t really have much time to think about those because bigger exams are coming at the beginning of January, so regularly blogging won’t be possible until I (finally) graduate !
How do you like my Blogiversary cake by the way ? 😉
Anyways, these two years of blogging have been amazing, and I hope there will be many more. Having my own space to express my creativity is truly fulfilling.
If you’re a blogger, how do you deal with blogging when you don’t have time ?

Happy Blog-iversary! My blog turned two this year too, it really snuck up on me! I think I grew a lot in 2018, but I have much bigger plans for this year. I definitely agree with you on the quality over quantity; I could have put out a lot more posts this year, but I know they wouldn’t have been my best work, and I wouldn’t have wanted that. Here’s to a wonderful new year!

Happy anniversary! You are so right about taking a break when you need one. I had to learn that one the hard way in 2018 but I’m looking forward to finding a better balance in 2019!

Congrats on your blogiversary!!! Last year I did not do a lot of blogging. I too had alot going on and I agree it’s completely okay to take a break! Taking breaks can honestly be the best thing when it comes to blogging. How exciting that you have a clothing line coming out! I hope great things are to come this year for your blog!
